WWE unifies titles and unveils new WWE World Heavyweight belt, new logo added to other titles as well

WWE has unified the WWE and the World Heavyweight gold belt into a single championship title which was revealed by Triple H on Monday Night Raw in Las Vegas.

As seen on last night’s episode, Brock Lesnar, who demolished John Cena at SummerSlam to become the new champion, was crowned with the new WWE World Heavyweight title. The title also bears the new company logo which was unveiled few days ago at the company headquarters in Stamford which as part of their major changes.

Speculations of WWE unifying the titles emerged last month after a Monday Night episode where John Cena displayed his respect for the returning Ric Flair by handing him over the gold belt before his match. Flair accepted the title and took it along with him to the back.

WWE.com also displayed the WWE title on it’s official page and it was a sign that perhaps the higher officials were suggesting to retire the heavyweight gold.

But after Triple H and Stephanie did a photoshoot with the new unified title, it was confirmed that WWE were combining the two belts into one and that the new logo would be carved onto it.

Triple H posted the following on Instagram before unveiling the belt to the WWE universe.
