WWE is planning something big for Wrestlemania XXX

Who will face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXX ?

Wrestlemania is undoubtedly the greatest show of the year. If you take a look at the highest grossing pay per views in the history of WWE, you will find only Wrestlemania events there. But question is: wWhat will happen at this year’s Wrestlemania? Will it be a hit like other editions or a flop because of falling RAW and Smackdown ratings and boring storylines? WWE is trying its best increase the ratings. That’s why it has some big plans for Wrestlemania XXX.

1. According to reports and rumours, WWE is looking to bring Shane McMahon back for Wrestlemania. He could be a part of Vince vs Triple H storyline.

Bryan Alvarez (F4W Newsletter) said :

“There is some interest, at least from the HHH/Stephanie side, of having Shane McMahon make an appearance at WrestleMania this year.”

Before Shane McMahon, Austin vs Triple H was rumoured to be at Wrestlemania where Austin was supposed to fight in favour of Vince. But that is not possible right now so WWE wants Shane to take the place of Austin.

2.The other plan is for Ryback. He had a great dominant debut in WWE, but fans started chanting “Goldberg” on his appearance. The frustrated Ryback said he is not Goldberg and Goldberg would be brought back and beaten. That gave birth to the idea that “Ryback vs Goldberg” could be a set up for Wrestlemania. But this seems to have been abandoned now.

Brock Lesnar is likely to return at The Royal Rumble and last night on Smackdown Ryback said that he was not a Paul Heyman guy any more. So now WWE is planning to set Ryback as face and to schedule “Brock vs Ryback” match for WM. According to F4W Newsletter :

“The working idea at press time was to do something with Ryback and Brock (Paul sends his beast to take care of the guy he blames for Punk putting him in a wheelchair), likely for Royal Rumble. They would like to do Ryback vs. Goldberg at WrestleMania, but the feeling from those I’ve talked to in WWE is that it’s probably not going to happen because WWE would almost certainly ask Goldberg to do the job and nobody expects Bill to be open to that idea.”

3. This Monday night on Raw, an unhandled situation between The Wyatts and The Shields occurred. It is possible that they will face each other in a tag team match in near future. And what could be a better place for that than the biggest event of the year! Both The Shields and The Wyatts had impressive starts in WWE. The Shields were almost undefeated as a team. They defeated the team of Randy Ortan, Sheamus and The Big Show at Wrestlemania last year. So this could also be a great set up for Wrestlemania XXX.

In other matches Sting vs the Undertaker is a dream match for every WWE fan but according to news WWE have almost decided The Dead Man’s opponent for Wrestlemania. Hulk Hogan said he will definitely be at WM. However his opponent is not decided yet; he could possibly be pitted against John Cena.

These were some of the plans for Wrestlemania XXX. More matches could be added in the line-up or the opponents could be changed also. Who knows?
