El Idolo has been paired up with Vickie Guerrero on AEW TV, and he is also slated for a few big matches outside Tony Khan's company.

The Mexican star is enjoying the post-WWE freedom to expand his range of work, and he has also expressed interest in setting up a compelling faction with a few familiar faces.

The former WWE United States champion sat down for an interview with Lucha Libre Online's Hugo Savinovich.

During the chat, the highly-respected Hugo Savinovich pitched an idea for Andrade to form a new Los Ingobernables featuring Charlotte Flair, Ric Flair, and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Andrade was one of the three original members of Los Ingobernables (The Ungovernables), along with La Mascara and RUSH. The faction was introduced in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in 2014 and became the top heel collective within a year of its debut.

Los Ingobernables has had many different lineups and offshoot versions that have appeared in CMLL, NJPW, and Ring of Honor.

Andrade is a Los Ingobernables original, and he loved the sound of putting together a unique alliance featuring members he knows really well. AEW's latest acquisition has been friends with Shinsuke Nakamura's before their WWE days as they previously worked together in Japan. The AEW wrestler praised the newly-crowned "King" before talking about his fiancé, Charlotte Flair.

The AEW star admitted that it was his dream to explore different creative possibilities with Charlotte Flair by his side. As we had reported, the engaged couple's pitch to start a romantic angle had been rejected by WWE officials.

In addition to Charlotte and Shinsuke, Hugo's proposed lineup also featured Andrade's father-in-law Ric Flair and fellow Los Ingobernables founder, RUSH.

The recently-signed AEW talent had high hopes for a reformed Los Ingobernables, and he sincerely wished to see it come to life on wrestling TV.

"It's a wonderful pitch," replied Andrade (translation via Luis Pulido). "Nakamura is a great talent, so are RUSH and Charlotte. I have never been with my fiancé (Charlotte) on TV, so it would be a dream to be with her, whether that be in this faction or not. I also have never been on TV with Ric, who is always a great person with me, so it would be very cool to make a faction with my friend, RUSH, with my fiancé and my father-in-law, and with Nakamura, who has treated me well since Japan and is always a great person. This group would be wonderful, and I think we would make history. I hope this dream becomes a reality in a not-so-distant future."

The Andrade-Charlotte dynamic could alone make the entire Los Ingobernables reboot a success.

Fans may have to wait to see Charlotte and Andrade as an on-air couple, as Flair is unlikely to leave WWE anytime soon. As for Andrade, he will be gunning for a solid start to his AEW career under Vickie Guerrero's management.
