A top AEW name has praised WWE Superstar Logan Paul's in-ring skills. The talent in question is Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam.

Fans, veterans, and analysts have commended The Maverick for his talent in the squared circle. In just three years, Paul has established himself as a major player in the Stamford-based promotion and recently retained his United States Championship against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at WrestleMania XL.

Speaking on his 1 Of A Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam praised the 29-year-old internet sensation, applauding his athleticism and courage. He noted, in particular, the latter's penchant for taking part in high-risk spots in front of his audiences.

"He definitely is not only very athletic but also, he's got the balls to pull off some of these moves that are higher risk and in front of a lot of people; you know, you can get nervous about f*****g up about some of these amazing dives and s**t," Van Dam said.

RVD also remarked on the possible resentment wrestlers in WWE's locker room might harbour for not enjoying the kind of air-time and exposure that Paul does. The Whole F'n Show added:

"Anyone that was getting TV time that I wasn't or getting more money than I was or whatever – ah, it just all seemed unfair." [H/T Wrestling Inc]
