Could Renee Paquette someday surpass this WWE Hall of Famer?

Renee Paquette has been praised by many names in AEW as well as the wrestling industry. However, her close bond with this star has resulted in her being compared to one of the most beloved WWE Hall of Famers.

Paquette may not be a wrestler, but her backstage interviews have allowed many stars to express their characters in controlled settings. Back in the Attitude Era, "Mean" Gene Okerlund was in the same role, and his performances and talent resulted in an eventual induction to the WWE Hall of Fame. He was also an extremely beloved figure behind the scenes.

Renee Paquette recently praised AEW star "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard. According to Paquette, Menard often gets her laugh until she's in stitches. Daddy Magic caught wind of her praise and called her a modern-day Gene Okerlund.

"She's the best. Modern day Mean Gene," Menard posted.

Paquette was unfortunately the victim of a car burglary not too long ago, which she revealed on social media. Luckily, the burglar made off with nothing of value, but still likely broke a window to get in.

Renee Paquette recently celebrated her one-year anniversary in AEW

Paquette's debut in All Elite Wrestling notably came with a lot of fanfare. During the promotion's first show in Canada, Renee walked out on the stage and addressed the crowd, who welcomed her warmly.

Recently, Renee Paquette took to social media to respond to a post sharing her original debut in the promotion. Additionally, she thanked all the fans and potentially the promotion as well, for welcoming her for a year.

"A year with you beauts!!" Paquette posted.

Due to Jon Moxley's lengthy contract with All Elite Wrestling, it's likely that Renee Paquette will also stay with the promotion across this time period. Additionally, due to how the promotion has received her and Moxley, it's safe to say that the couple will also be "All-Elite" for the remainder of their careers.
