WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has made plenty of enemies over the course of his long career, but he's also made lifelong friends. One of his best friends, fellow legend Bret Hart, has done a lot for The Nature Boy, but there's one thing he generally would not do.

Flair signed with AEW late last year in order to be part of Sting's final run before his in-ring retirement. This was The Stinger's second retirement, but The Nature Boy has had several of his own. His last match came on July 31, 2022, in Nashville, and Bret Hart was in attendance.

Ric Flair has reminisced on his friendship with The Hitman in the past, and he did so again in a recent interview with Roots of Fight. The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that Hart sat in the front row at his last match two years ago, but added that, even though Hart often refused to drink with Flair, he had a drink at Kid Rock's to celebrate.

"Bret's a legend in our business. We sign autographs a lot, I see him a lot. We remain good friends. We've competed against each other, we've laughed, we've had fun and, you know, we've had words. He came and sat front row in Nashville, and he said...cause he'll never have a drink with me, you know? He'll smoke the ma****ana all day long, but he won't drink. And he even came to Kid Rock's and had a drink, so that really endeared him to my heart," said Flair. [1:18 - 1:46]

Ric Flair recently reconnected with another WWE Legend

Although Ric Flair hasn't been seen on AEW television much lately, he still gets around to a lot of places and interacts with several current and former stars of the wrestling business.

The Nature Boy was recently spotted with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson, who caught a ride with Flair on a private jet. Wilson posted a picture of the two on Instagram and thanked Flair for the lift.

"Never laughed so hard for an entire flight. Thanks for the lift @ricflairnatureboy love you!" Wilson wrote.

At 75 years old, it seems unlikely that Flair will ever climb back into the ring. However, he's previously claimed that he'll never retire, so anything is possible with The Nature Boy.
