AEW fan-favorite Keith Lee has shared a personal update on social media amidst his ongoing programming hiatus. The Limitless One signed with the Tony Khan-led promotion over three years ago.
Lee has been missing in action since 2023, having been on hiatus since disclosing in January last year that he was set to undergo double surgeries. The former WWE Superstar has continued to stay in touch with his fans on social media during his AEW television absence, reassuring them of his eventual in-ring return.
When one X/Twitter user revealed that they missed Keith Lee, the 40-year-old star responded by claiming that he was faring quite well, having completed an intense workout session.
"Just finished up a monster leg day, so I am quite excellent, and definitely enjoying the day. Happy Friday to you friend. May the day treat you kindly," wrote Lee.

Although fans have been clamoring for Lee's return to the squared circle, recent reports do not indicate any immediate plans for a prospective comeback.
A brief look at Keith Lee's AEW stint
Keith Lee made his All Elite Wrestling debut over three years ago on the February 9 edition of Dynamite with a quick win over Private Party's Isiah Kassidy. Soon afterwards, he joined forces with Swerve Strickland and briefly held the AEW World Tag Team Championship with The Mogul. Unfortunately, the alliance fell apart shortly after Swerve in Our Glory lost the belts, leading to Strickland turning on Lee later that year.
The powerhouse's subsequent All Elite Wrestling run saw him team with Dustin Rhodes and later tangle with The Mogul Embassy and The Jericho Appreciation Society in multi-person action. Lee was last seen in an AEW ring at Collision Holiday Bash 2023, where he defeated Brian Cage. He was set for a singles match against Swerve Strickland at Worlds End 2023, but was pulled out of the bout due to an undisclosed injury.
It remains to be seen when Keith Lee will return to active competition in All Elite Wrestling.
