Fans are still buzzing about R-Truth's WWE return at Money in the Bank 2025. Now, AEW star Ricochet, who had previously called out many viewers of the Stamford-based company for believing that the comeback was planned, has once again taken to social media to lash out at a user about their response to his remarks.
Earlier this month, World Wrestling Entertainment came under fire after it was revealed that R-Truth would be leaving the promotion and that his contract would not be renewed upon expiration. Intense backlash against the company ensued over the next few days, seemingly leading to the veteran's surprising return at Money in the Bank, where he took out John Cena and helped Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in securing the win over the Undisputed WWE Champion and Logan Paul.
Recent reports indicate that the 53-year-old was brought back in response to the backlash his exit received from both fans and peers. Nevertheless, a significant portion of fans continues to believe that Truth's contract not being renewed and his eventual comeback were all premeditated. AEW star Ricochet recently took aim at such viewers when he compared their reactions to Triple H's claims about the former US Champion's return to the negative reception that Tony Khan often elicits for listening to his audience.
Although a user on X/Twitter seemed to accept that R-Truth was offered a new deal because of the fans, they still took a shot at The Excellence of Elevation for his comments. Ricochet fired back against the user immediately, writing:
"I am miserable. Because mental patients like yourself are allowed to use the internet."

There are several reasons to believe that WWE's decision to bring back R-Truth was not a "work"—an important one being prior announcements from Carlito and Valhalla, who revealed that their contracts were also not being renewed.
Former WWE Superstar Ricochet on a singles match with R-Truth
R-Truth is back in WWE and will go by his real name, Ron Killings, for his current run. After the star initially announced his departure, both established and independent promotions reportedly showed interest in employing him.
Last week, an X/Twitter user speculated on potential matchups for R-Truth if he signed with AEW. This included prospective bouts against Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Hangman Adam Page, and Ricochet, to name a few. The Future of Flight, however, responded by seemingly declining a match with R-Truth, claiming that he respected him too much and that he would retire him if they squared off.
"Look I love Truth. Don't make me retire unc," Ricochet wrote.
Ricochet and Truth shared the ring several times during the former's stint in the sports entertainment juggernaut, although they never competed in a singles match against each other.
