"That's on you" - Konnan slams popular AEW star; calls him "lazy"

Wrestling veteran Konnan does not shy away from criticizing the AEW product and has slammed a top star after his recent match. The star is none other than Dax Harwood.

This past week on AEW Dynamite, FTR's Dax Harwood competed in a singles match against AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada in the main event of Dynamite. The Rainmaker managed to defeat Harwood after a hard-hitting battle. The two men will meet again at the Double or Nothing PPV event where Dax Harwood teams up with Cash Wheeler, Bryan Danielson, and Darby Allin to take on Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry, Nicholas, and Matthew Jackson in an Anarchy of the Arena match.

Speaking on the 'Keeping It 100 OFFICIAL' podcast, Konnan questioned the story behind the main event of Dynamite. He went on to call Dax Harwood lazy for not coming up with a story for his match against Kazuchika Okada.

"Dax, you know well enough that you can have matches, and yeah, they're good matches but every match is way better if it has a back story whether it's in boxing, MMA, or wrestling. If you guys are too lazy to come up with a story or write a story, that's on you. What do you mean where's the story? there should be a back story to make it more interesting. What's so interesting is that one-half of the tag team, Dax, is wrestling Okada. Where's interest there?" [11:45 - 12:16]

Eric Bischoff also called out Dax Harwood after his match with Kazuchika Okada on AEW Dynamite

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has been having a back-and-forth with Dax Harwood on X (formerly known as Twitter) and it seems like the veteran has taken another major jab at the FTR member.

This past week's AEW Dynamite was one of the lowest-rated shows since 2020. In a recent tweet on his X account, Eric Bischoff slammed Dax Harwood by saying that if the main event of Dynamite had a story behind it, the show would have done great numbers.

"Hey Dax! How are you? Perhaps if there were a story between you and Okada, your main event match (including an over-run) wouldn't have been the lowest-rated segment of the show. By the way, no one is paying me for this post. #WiseChoices http://83Weeks.com 😎," wrote Bischoff.

Dax Harwood is currently focused on defeating The Elite at the Double or Nothing PPV event. It will be interesting to see if Harwood fires back again at the former RAW General Manager.
