Bryan Danielson may have suffered an injury and a loss at the inaugural AEW Dynasty pay-per-view, but he is receiving major praise from the wrestling world this morning. The well wishes for the ring veteran are coming in from all across the business today, including from a certain top star.

Dynasty saw Danielson lose a near-33-minute match to Will Ospreay. The crowd inside the Chaifetz Arena was electric throughout the first-time-ever bout, with "Holy s***!" chants before the first lock-up, and "We're not worthy!" chants later on. At one point, both men rushed out of their corners but the former NJPW champion connected first with a Tiger Driver 91 and Hidden Blade. Doctors began checking on Danielson's shoulder as he suffered an injury, and then The Commonwealth Kingpin hit another Hidden Blade for the pin to win.

The announcers played this up as a legitimate injury, adding that The American Dragon was able to walk out on his own, but Fightful later reported that Danielson was just selling. Ospreay took to X this morning to thank the St. Louis crowd. He also sent well wishes to Danielson, praising him as the greatest and wishing him a speedy recovery.

"Thank you so much for that incredible atmosphere last night. That was nothing I have ever felt before in my life. Sending all the love and positive vibes to Bryan Danielson. Truly the greatest to ever do this, speedy recovery boss," Will Ospreay wrote.

Ospreay is now on a 6-match winning streak since returning to AEW as a contracted talent. He has defeated Konosuke Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs, Kyle Fletcher, Katsuyori Shibata, Claudio Castagnoli, and now Danielson.

AEW announces huge title match for Dynamite

AEW will present Dynasty fallout as Wednesday's Dynamite airs live from Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

AEW is returning to its home base with a major title match as Jon Moxley will defend his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Powerhouse Hobbs.

This will be Moxley's first title defense since winning the IWGP title at NJPW Windy City Riot on April 12. He defeated Tetsuya Naito in the 20-minute main event of the night. No other matches have been confirmed for Dynamite as of now.
