Recent reports of an AEW star parting ways with the promotion have all but been confirmed by the star in question. Despite the sudden shift in career trajectory, the talent seems in good spirits and looks forward to the journey ahead.

A few days ago, it was reported that Brock Anderson's time in AEW had ended. The 26-year-old was also removed from the promotion's roster page, a tell-tale sign that Tony Khan no longer employed him.

Despite having his legendary father, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson, by his side, things, unfortunately, did not work out for Brock in AEW as much as many had hoped. He took to X to share the following message directed towards his fans and critics alike:

"To those that’ve supported me and helped me THANK YOU. To my detractors, that’s your right to an opinion. All I can do, to quote @dustinrhodes is, “Keep Steppin”. On to the next chapter… #prowrestling"

At such a young age, Brock still has his entire career well and truly ahead of him. Fans will be eagerly anticipating what is in store for the rising star.

Brock Anderson to join fellow AEW departees in WWE?

Going forward, one viable option for Brock Anderson is to try his hand at the world's largest promotion and a company with which his father shares a deep history. WWE has recently brought several former All Elite Wrestling stars on board, and the young Anderson could join that list.

Jade Cargill's arrival in WWE has been talked about, it seems, by everyone in the wrestling world. The former TBS Champion has immediately been positioned as a major star in her new promotion, being hyped on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT on a near-weekly basis.

A more quiet but just as noteworthy arrival is that of Brian Pillman Jr., now going by Lexis King in NXT.
