AEW's roster has undergone numerous changes over the past year, with scores of talent suffering injuries or debuting in the promotion. According to reports, fan-favorite Andrade El Idolo will return in time for the new Saturday show, Collision.
Shortly before his disappearance from television, rumors broke that Andrade got into a backstage brawl with Sammy Guevara after the two had a heated Twitter exchange. However, it seems like El Idolo will be back and will appear in AEW Collision.
According to Dave Meltzer during a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Andrade El Idolo will be making his return to the ring two days before Collision and then return in time for the show.
"Andrade will be back in time because Andrade booked…Andrade is actually working a show in Mexico two days before, which I believe is going to be the first match back. So he should be back on that show and ready to go after his surgery to repair a torn pec," Meltzer stated. (H/T WrestlingNews.co)
It was earlier reported that Andrade's lengthy absence from All Elite Wrestling was due to a surgery he underwent in order to be in shape for the launch of Collision.

For months, Andrade was spotted in a new exotic location with Charlotte Flair, and the couple was clearly enjoying their time abroad. Some fans made some wild speculations about a WWE return, but in hindsight, it seems like El Idolo was simply unwinding before the real work would begin.
The couple was last spotted together in public when they attended a DJ Luian show in Orlando, Florida.
Hopefully, for the star, he's well-rested and ready to get back into action, especially since he has a large following online. Many fans were unhappy to see him disappear from television and firmly believed that he should have held gold in AEW by now.
