An update has emerged regarding a popular AEW star following a brutal beatdown he received throughout Summer Blockbuster. The report also set the record straight regarding whether he had sustained a legitimate injury.
Last Wednesday, Will Ospreay faced Swerve Strickland in a 30-minute time limit draw. This match was physical, as both men dug deep into their bag of tricks. Ospreay was busted open following a stiff strike from Swerve to his face. Later on in the night, he came to Swerve's aid and ate a Double Superkick from the Young Bucks with thumbtacks attached to their shoes.
There was concern from the commentary team and the fans that the Aerial Assassin had broken his nose. Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now given an update stating that Will Ospreay was healthy coming out of the show and sustained no injuries. Meltzer also reported that the former AEW champion will be around to compete next week at the Grand Slam in Mexico as part of a 10-man tag team match.
“Will Ospreay is said to be fine after AEW Dynamite, following fan speculation that he had potentially broken his nose in his match against Swerve Strickland. He is still expected to be wrestling this coming week.” said Meltzer. [H/T WrestleTalk TV]

Will Ospreay and Swerve are planned for a major match at AEW All In
Following what transpired at Summer Blockbuster, AEW has seemingly planted the seeds for a major tag team match for All In: Texas. This will feature Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland taking on the Young Bucks.
Fightful Select has reported that this is the current direction that the company is planning. It was mentioned that plans have always been in place for a match featuring Swerve and the Bucks, but Ospreay being factored into this was only done following the result of his match with 'Hangman' Adam Page at Double or Nothing.
This looks to be another blockbuster contest that could be added to All In soon. Fans should look to next week to find out how Will Ospreay will respond following the brutal attack.
