5 Incredible betrayals that could shake WrestleMania 36 up: WWE star betrayed in a title match?

WrestleMania has already been taped and I have to say that I am thankful that no major results have been spoiled yet. While there have been rumors and rumblings about who is part of the show and who could not make it owing to the conditions around the world right now.

And this means that we can certainly focus on what may or may not happen at WrestleMania 36, as I am going to do in this very article and I invite you to do the same. The focus of this article is something that every wrestling fan is cognizant of, at all times, namely betrayals.

Yes, betrayals are at the core of the WWE product and they may happen at any time without any prior notice. And yes, these 5 betrayals could certainly take place at WrestleMania 36.

#5 Sasha Banks rolls Bayley up when she is distracted

Sasha Banks and Bayley both know that there will come the point where they have to turn on one another, considering only one of them can potentially walk out of WrestleMania as the SmackDown Women's Champion. But yet, they seem to be portraying the facade of being on the same page, for the time being, I suppose. Maybe there will be a major surprise or twist on the go-home edition of SmackDown.

But I think it's better to let this facade of friendship continue all the way to the match, where the two women portray that they will work together to keep the title on Bayley. And then, when the world does not expect it, Sasha Banks can roll Bayley up for the pin.

And Sasha Banks could be the babyface that the SmackDown Women's Division is built around after WrestleMania.

#4 Drew Gulak turns on Daniel Bryan during his match

Yes, Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn will be wrestling for the WWE Intercontinental Championship when WrestleMania comes around, but it is baffling indeed why such is the case, to be honest. I mean Drew Gulak did all the hard work in getting Daniel Bryan the big match, didn't he?

And that could very well be the reasoning that Gulak adopts when he decides to destroy Daniel Bryan and cost him the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 36. People believe that Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak would make a very impressive tag team, going forward, but let me just say for the record, that they can actually create absolute works of art working against one another in a ring.

Drew Gulak's betrayal would be a memorable WrestleMania moment and will help him be seen more like a serious contender than as a joke thus far, as he has been thanks to the whole PowerPoint presentation gimmick. If WWE is really high on him, this could be his big turnaround moment.

#3 Tucker betrays Otis

In every great WWE group thus far, there's always been a Tucker and an Otis. By which I mean there's been a guy who's incredibly over with fans and another who plays the role of the sidekick and while popular, is nowhere close to being the star of the group.

Take Edge and Christian for example. As great as Christian was and for everything that he went on to achieve in WWE through the course of his amazing career, Edge was just positioned to be the bigger star at all times.

And so, it may be time for WWE to try and push Otis to the moon, and the best way to do this would be to have Tucky betray him in his match with Dolph Ziggler. And the reason why Tucker Knight may snap is that Otis snapped not long ago and cost their team a chance at the SmackDown Tag Team Championships recently.

Otis vs. Tucky may be the next big feud after WrestleMania is done. And we all know how much Dolph Ziggler needs a win on a big stage too.

#2 Mandy Rose betrays Dolph Ziggler

Everyone wants the nice guy to end up with the girl of his dreams, don't they? Mandy Rose and Dolph Ziggler may be a thing right now, but fans worldwide are hoping that she comes to her senses soon and realizes that Otis is the man for her, at WrestleMania 36. And while the rest of this list is all doom, gloom, and treachery, this is an option with a very happy ending.

Yes, Mandy Rose may realize that Dolph Ziggler does not care about her as much as Otis does and for the same reason, she may betray him during the match. Yes, something like this would have made a lot more sense with a crowd in attendance but one has to adapt. Imagine the kind of roar something of this nature would get if it was happening in front of a live crowd at WrestleMania 36.

What a great fairytale ending it would be if Mandy Rose and Otis walked out of WrestleMania arm in arm, as a couple.

#1 Shinsuke Nakamura betrays Sami Zayn

It was very odd indeed how Shinsuke Nakamura used to be the WWE Intercontinental Champion but then, just removed himself from the scene allowing for Sami Zayn to claim the prize. And now, he is just one of the people in Sami Zayn's faction, playing second fiddle to him.

I think that it is all too likely that Shinsuke Nakamura could choose to betray the leader of his group on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Or at least, what used to be known as the grandest stage of them all, once upon a time.

Shinsuke Nakamura still has the catchiest tune in all of sports entertainment and yes, he could certainly become a babyface once again, inserting himself into a feud with Sami Zayn and Cesaro. After all, WrestleMania is only a pit stop and WWE programming needs to continue well beyond it too.

Do you think Shinsuke Nakamura should become a babyface?? Or do you like him better as a heel in the current role that he's in?
