With the arrival of Arcane season 2 Act 3 on Netflix, Naruto fans have taken to social media indicating similar themes in the overarching plot of the series. One reference in particular has sparked a significant reaction within Kisihimoto's community, that has led fans to declare Arcane as "sooo Naruto coded."

Social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit are witnessing rising discussions regarding Arcane's similarity to Naruto. Many are sharing their moments and themes from Arcane season 2 in an attempt to support this connection. They have expressed how this modern take on a beloved dynamic has brought back a wave of nostalgia.

Arcane season 2's likeness to Naruto according to fans

The pivotal scene that sparked the interest of the Naruto fanbase takes place in episode 8 of season 2, where Viktor looks over Jayce as they engage in battle. This moment mirrors the battle in the Valley of the End where Sasuke looks over Naruto after defeating him.

The dynamics between Viktor and Jayce, particularly their confrontation, have reignited memories of the emotional depth and complexity of the Sasuke and Naruto relationship. Fans are welcoming back 'SasuNaru' as they take to social media discussions, claiming that Arcane season 2 always had an underlying theme.

Another plotline that fans felt was similar is how Viktor was akin to Madara. Just as Madara wanted to cast a genjutsu over the world to create an ideal reality, Viktor's ambitions echo this sentiment, aiming to use his technology to control and improve the world.

Fans reacting to the similarities

One fan took to X (formerly Twitter) stating that Arcane season 2's ending had underlying themes with Viktor wishing to bring to a new world order just like Madara did. Another user commented that the creators were aware of what they did, and this was a delightful easter egg for the Kishimoto community. However, there are no official comments from the creators as of now.

"I was thinking the same thing just now. Their plot is very similar to Naruto trying to save Sasuke from himself," commented one fan.
"they knew what they were doing," another fan said.

Kishimoto fans watching Arcane season 2 already took to X searching for fellow fans who felt the same. A fan states that the Jayvik(Jayce Viktor) combo was the Narusasu(Naruto Sasuke) dynamic everyone deserved. Moreover, other fans who caught this likeness responded claiming that they've felt the similarities before.

"I was specifically searching for this Tweet - I was sure, I was not the only one, who noticed 🤣 Jayvik is the Narusasu we deserved, but never got..." said one fan.
"I KNEW I SAW THIS BEFORE!!" another fan said.
"many many references, my friend," another user comments.

Conclusion

Kishimoto fans were pleasantly surprised by Arcane's Narusasu moment, which showcased the creative potential that resulted from the merging of two worlds. While these moments could be a coincidence, it will be interesting to observe how season 2 keeps its distinct identity while drawing inspiration from other series, if any.
