Boruto Two Blue Vortex has given fans some top-tier content over the past few months. The animanga series wasn’t particularly the most entertaining title a little while ago, but the events that followed the timeskip have been impressive, and the entire Narutoverse is excited to see how the rest of the story unfolds.

Himawari Uzumaki stole the spotlight in chapter 9. This is because Himawari is now a full-fledged Jinchuriki and this is one of the biggest plot points in the series. The entire fanbase is happy to see Kurama back in the series.

In comparison to other Jinchurikis that were first introduced in the original Naruto series, Himawari seems to have luck on her side. There are certain things that have been rather easy for her when we compare her to the likes of Gaara.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex: Why Himawari is one of the luckiest Jinchurikis in the animanga series

Before we get into the topic, it is important to take a look at the evidence that substantiates Himawari being a Jinchuriki. Towards the end of chapter 9, Himawari was having a conversation with Team 10. However, she suddenly froze and the shinobis around her were startled.

The next panel cut to the Bijuu Plane where the Jinchurikis and their corresponding Tailed Beast can converse telepathically. This is where we saw a miniature version of Kurama. This confirmed that Himawari was a Jinchuriki.

One of the biggest issues that most Jinchurikis had was the sealing process. This is something that Himawari didn’t have to experience. However, one of the biggest problems that any Jinchuriki had to deal with was the telepathic conversation, especially when the Tailed Beast didn’t accept or acknowledge the Jinchuriki. For instance, Naruto had to display a great deal of mental resilience every time Kurama said something that irritated him.

Even Gaara was driven to a corner because of what Shuukaku did. He suffered from insomnia and always had voices in his head ever since he was a child. Such conditions could have driven anyone insane.

Furthermore, all the Tailed Beasts had a considerable degree of hatred towards the entire world, especially human beings. However, Himawari didn’t have to experience any of this despite having Kurama inside her.

No one sealed Kurama inside her and therefore, she didn’t have to undergo some of the most traumatic experiences that most Jinchurikis were forced to undergo. That being said, there is also a possibility that Himawari will not receive a massive upgrade in terms of ninjutsu abilities or charka pool.

The Kurama shown in the Boruto Two Blue Vortex manga is way smaller than what he used to be. It will be interesting to see the manga explain how Himawari obtained Kurama, as well as the extent of the upgrades she’ll receive during the course of the series.

Stay tuned for more anime and manga news as 2024 progresses.
