The previous chapter of Kagurabachi saw an interesting development in the narrative with Chihiro Rokuhira confronting a Hishaku member while trying to infiltrate the Sazanami family's graveyard. Aside from Chihiro, the chapter focused on Hakuri, who finally faced his elder brother, Soya.

Global fans of Takeru Hokazono's battle shonen manga can digitally read Kagurabachi chapter 31 on several Shueisha-affiliated platforms, such as the MangaPlus website, MangaPlus app, Shonen Jump+ app, and Viz Media's official site.

Only the first and the latest three chapters are freely available for manga readers' perusal, except for the Shonen Jump+ app, where one would require a monetary subscription to access every chapter. A subscription is also needed to MangaPlus to read the rest of the chapters.

The chapter starts with a flashback panel, where Shiba tells Chihiro that he will head to Rakuzaichi's basement first. Meanwhile, a short narration explains how the Tou, aka the four strongest Sazanami members, enshrine themselves at the four corners of the Rakuzaichi's stage.

However, this time, Kyora Sazanami orders them to guard the basement instead because that's where Chihiro is likely to intrude. The chapter switches to the Tou, protecting the door to the Sazanami clan's graveyard, Naginojoen.

They discuss the possibility of Chihiro finding out about the storeroom's secret emergency exit door. Besides Hakuri's intelligence, the Tou feels Chihiro can discover the existence of the door through his connection with the Enten.

Suddenly, Soya Sazanami notices Hakuri, and he goes after him. At the same time, Shiba teleports behind the remaining three Tou members and nonchalantly asks them how to open the door. It is then revealed that Hakuri's job is to split up the Tou.

Following the original plan, he runs as fast as he can to reach the surface and meet Chihiro. Although he does meet him, a wall made of wood appears between them, thus blocking the exit path for Hakuri. He feels returning to Shiba isn't an option.

Hakuri remembers the kindness of Chihiro and wants to repay him. As such, he confronts his fears and decides to take on Soya himself. Meanwhile, Chihiro demonstrates the dying Cloud Gouger's abilities to decimate his opponent. He also notices an opponent with a familiar tattoo on their hand. The chapter ends with Chihiro Rokuhira confronting a Hishaku member.

Kagurabachi chapter 31 will likely reveal the identity of the Hishaku member and show a captivating battle between him and Chihiro. There's a possibility that Chihiro might lose the battle. However, it remains to be seen whether Hiyuki intervenes to protect him.

On the other hand, the chapter may delve into Shiba's battle against the three Tou members. In other words, fans can expect the chapter to finally showcase Shiba fighting in serious mode.

Besides that, Kagurabachi chapter 31 could also highlight Hakuri vs. Soya Sazanami. Considering Soya has given him nothing but trauma throughout his life, Hakuri won't back down until he showcases his innate potential.
