This person stated that Ace was indeed a good brother to Monkey D. Luffy. However, he wouldn't be able to do what Itachi did. Given the circumstances, Itachi chose the route that the entire village and his younger brother would benefit at the cost of his own clan's life and his life. Sure, he didn't die, but he could not live the life of an average shinobi that adored Konohagakure.
