On Monday, June 9, 2025, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account of Don't Touch Kotesashi anime unveiled a key visual and announced that the series will premiere in October 2025. The details concerning the anime's main cast and staff have also arrived with this announcement.

Don't Touch Kotesashi anime is an adaptation of Takuya Shinjo's eponymous manga series. Kodansha's Magazine Pocket has been serializing the manga since May 2021. The company has compiled the manga's chapters into 11 tankobon volumes thus far.

According to the latest information from the official staff on June 9, 2025, Don't Touch Kotesashi anime, also known as Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun, will begin its broadcast in October 2025, i.e., in Fall 2025. An exact release date will be revealed in due time. The staff also announced that the series' Blu-ray/DVD will be released in 2026, with a body pillow cover as a first-time limited edition bonus.

Coming to the main cast, Rikuya Yasuda voices the main hero, Koyo Kotesashi, a first-year high school student who works as a caretaker in a girls' dorm to earn money for tuition. Hina Sugita voices Aroma Kusunoki, a member of the basketball club. Yu Serizawa lends her voice to Aoba Kitahara, a first-year student who happens to be a soccer club member.

Saya Aizawa voices Izumi Sumiyoshi, a second-year high school student who belongs to the swimming club. Manatsu Murakami has joined the voice cast as Chiyo Sayamagaoka, a second-year student skilled in playing tennis at the Tennis club. The other cast member announced is Ruriko Aoki as Miyuki Hongo, a third-year student and the Volleyball club's captain.

The latest key visual for the Don't Touch Kotesashi anime features the main heroines — Aroma, Aoba, Izumi, Chiyo, and Ruriko — sporting unique expressions. The visual highlights the personalities of each heroine.

Hisashi Saito, who has previously worked on I'm Living With an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!?, directs the Don't Touch Kotesashi anime at Studio Quad, with Hagane Shirakigo handling the series scripts. Ryusuke Tsukamoto is the show's character designer, while Chihiro Endo is the music composer.

Deregula is producing the series. Additional crew members include Daiki Ura as the Color Designer, Makoto Shiraishi as the Art Director, Makoto Togo as the Photography Director, Kohei Yoshida as the Sound Director, and Junichi Masunaga as the Editor.

Based on the original manga, the anime follows Koyo Kotesashi, a high school freshman, who aims to become a sports doctor. To that end, he becomes a massage specialist at Seiha University High School, known for its top-level sports teams. Koyo provides massage services to athletic girls at this establishment.
