A new Key Visual for Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 has been released during the Mappa Stage 2023 event, which took place on Sunday, May 21, at 3.30 pm JST. The stage also featured live voice acting, comments from the cast and the director, and anecdotes on Romi Park’s departure from the show.
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 will premiere during the Fall 2023 season on NHK General. It is supposed to be the final installment of the anime. According to director Yuichiro Hayashi, who was also present during the event, this key visual is likely to be the final visual for this part.
Mappa Stage 2023 reveals Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 key visual with no titans or characters
The Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 final key visual portrays a humble cottage atop a hill, lush with greenery and vegetation. The mood of the scene is serene, with nothing unnatural in the vicinity. There is a distinct lack of human characters, however, the shadows of two Titans can be seen. There is a line of text on the poster that reads as follows: “Itterasshai Eren”, which translates to “Take care/have a nice day/see you, Eren.”
Manga readers will recognize this setting as the backdrop from the infamous “See you Eren” dream, with the inscription being Mikasa’s final words to Eren. According to Director Yuichiro Hayashi, this will be the final promotional still before the upcoming installment. However, a trailer can be expected to be released soon.
A rough translation of Director Hayashi’s comment during Mappa stage 2023 reads:
“With the release of the key visual for the sequel to the final part, the Attack on Titan anime is advancing towards its final act. However, the work is still in progress so it does not feel complete. As for the key visual, I think this will be the final visual for The Final Season."

"It may be a surprise to you that there are no hordes of characters like in the previous visuals, but I decided long ago to take an uncomplicated approach for the last visual. I think that there is something intriguing to the imagination when there is nothing given. Apart from Director Hayashi, the Attack on Titan panel at Mappa Stage 2023 consisted of Yuki Kaji (Voice of Eren), Yui Ishikawa (voice of Mikasa Ackerman), and Romi Park (voice of Hange Zoe). The three cast members live-acted selected scenes from Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 1 which was aired on March 4, 2023.
The cast discussed several moments from their experience playing these beloved characters. Special focus was given to the character of Hange Zoe, who passed away during the previous part. In that vein, this was Romi Park’s farewell to the show as well, even though she may appear on other stages during the run of the anime.
