One Punch Man season 3 unveils eighth character visual
On Friday, October 4, 2024, the official sources for the One Punch Man anime unveiled the character visual of S-Class Rank 5 Hero Isamu, also known as Child Emperor. The new character visual is drawn by Ryosuke Shirakawa, One Punch Man season 3 character designer, alongside Shinjiro Kuroda.
As for the Child Emperor visual, it depicted the S-Class Hero preparing for a fight against a possible monster. This is evident from the visual that shows Child Emperor having activated his spider-like gadgets that emerge from his backpack.
As fans may have noticed, ever since the anime revealed its announcement video, the series's official website has been adding one character design each to its gallery on the first Friday of every new month.
Up until now, the anime has revealed character visuals for seven characters. The seven characters are Saitama "Caped Baldy," King, Genos "Demon Cyborg," Fubuki "Hellish Blizzard," Bang "Silver Fang," Tatsumaki "Terrible Tornado," and Kamikaze "Atomic Samurai."
Out of the eight total character visuals revealed till now, Saitama, King, Fubuki, Kamikaze, and Child Emperor were illustrated by Ryosuke Shirakawa. As for the rest, i.e., Genos, Bang, and Tatsumaki, they were illustrated by Shinjiro Kuroda.
Fans react to Child Emperor's character visual
Most One Punch Man fans loved the new Child Emperor character visual. This is because not only did the design look good, but it was also most true to its original design from the manga series.
"He looks great!," one fan said.
"The best and most accurate one so far," another fan said.
"Is there a third season yet? How many years has it been since the announcement?" another added.
"Can we get any clue about the S3 release date?" another fan asked.
Meanwhile, other fans could not care less about it, as they did not want new character visuals. What they wanted was new information on the anime. It had been nearly two years since the anime was announced. Nevertheless, the studio was yet to reveal a release window for the anime and kept fans engaged with monthly character visual releases.
