It is also during this training that Ranma shows a clear aptitude for this discipline and Ryoga makes it clear that he wants to injure him so he loses and ends up as Kodachi's boyfriend so he can stay with Akane.The following day, Akane Tendo and Ranma are greeted by Kodachi, who already started setting up several traps to catch them, although the former manages to avoid them. Ryoga also reaches the place of the battle but while on his way to attack Ranma, he gets water thrown at him, turns into his pig version, and is captured by Kodachi.The two ladies step up to the ring and Kodachi already begins with her tricks, which include tying Ranma's wrist to a chain and Ryoga's pig version. As they are fighting, the protagonist also has to deal with the little pig trying to capture him and Kodachi's strategies, which include throwing hot water at them, although they maintain their cover because Akane grabbed a hose and covered them again.As Ranma is swimming in the water, Kodachi moves the ring to stay in place and the protagonist destroys the floor to discover that the latter's underlings were moving said ring. Since the floor was no longer available, the one giving the following touch would win, which proved to be Ranma by using one of the ring's tent poles.
