Paul Skenes’ girlfriend Olivia Dunne celebrates spot on Forbes’ top influencer list

Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne often make headlines, even if it's not related to their professions. Dunne already ended her gymnastics career at LSU, giving her more time to focus on being a social media influencer.

On Monday, she shared a post on her Instagram story, highlighting Forbes' list of top creators. Dunne was included on it based on the richest content creators, and she added a short message to celebrate the honor.

"woop woop," Dunne wrote.

Skenes and Dunne first met when they were competing for the Tigers. The Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher isn't as open as Dunne, but she regularly shares updates about their lives.

Dunne has over 5.4 million followers on Instagram, and also has a large presence on TikTok. During the MLB season, she frequently watches games to cheer on her boyfriend.

Skenes is the reigning National League Rookie of the Year, and started in the 2024 MLB All-Star game. The dominant pitcher is just 4-6 this season, but has an ERA of 1.78.

In 2023, Paul Skenes' career took off following a dominant performance at the College World Series in Nebraska. Olivia Dunne is back in Omaha to watch the LSU Tigers play, and she talked about memories of watching Skenes in action.

“When I came in 2023, it was one of the best experiences ever,” Dunne said on Sunday, via Hurrdat Sports. “So I had to come back, support the Tigers — and also Paul.

"Watching him go from college through the minors to the MLB has honestly been such a dream and so fun to watch. It all happened so fast, so I’ve been telling all my teammates who are dating players here on the LSU team to savor every memory — because I don’t know if anything really tops Omaha. It's just so fun here."

While Dunne won't be watching Skenes pitching for the Tigers, they are both rooting for their alma mater. She will also continue working on being a social media influencer while supporting her boyfriend throughout the 2025 MLB season.
