Born in Riverside, California, Carter Dayne Bryant is an emerging talent in college basketball, playing for the Arizona Wildcats in the Big 12 Conference.

Carter Bryant began his basketball journey at Fountain Valley High School, where he was coached by his father, D'Cean Bryant. After a brief time at Fountain Valley, he transferred to Sage Hill School in Newport Beach, California, where he excelled as a junior. During this time, he averaged 22.1 points, 13.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.9 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game, earning him the Pacific Coast Conference MVP award. After considering offers from several prominent programs, including Louisville, Bryant ultimately committed to play for the Arizona Wildcats in November 2023. According to his official roster, he was ranked as the top 20 recruit. He earned All-American mentions at Jersey Mike Boy's High School and was also named the McDonald's All-American.
