American rapper Master P was the latest guest on Flau'jae Johnson's "Best of Both Worlds" podcast on Friday. He was asked about his top four artists and basketball players of all time. Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg and Lil Wayne made Percy Robert Miller's list.
When it came to basketball, Master P named Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Magic Johnson on his Mount Rushmore.
"I'll say Tupac, Biggie, Snoop and Lil Wayne," Master P said. "Basketball - Jordan, Kobe, LeBron and Imma go with Magic Johnson"
"That's valid, 1000%. That's valid," Johnson replied.
Percy Robert Miller has a decorated pool of work in the music industry. Besides his musical stints, he has also dabbled in the world of basketball. In 1998, Master P began playing for the Fort Wayne Fury in the CBA. Even though he did not possess a superstar-like talent, he got an invite from the NBA next year.
Master P attended the Charlotte Hornets 10-day training camp in 1999 and also represented the franchise in multiple exhibition games. After being released by the Hornets, he was picked up by the Toronto Raptors months later. After being part of the training cap, Miller represented the Raptors in a preseason contest, scoring eight points off the bench.
Flau'jae Johnson teases transitioning to the WNBA
Later on her podcast, Flau'jae Johnson teased fans about her potential entry to the WNBA next season. Johnson is one of the most talented players in the college basketball circuit and is on her way to posting her best Division I season.
Johnson built up the intensity around her leap to the WNBA in the episode. However, she ultimately revealed that she is joking with the fans and plans to take things as they come. Nevertheless, Johnson put it out there that she is eligible to declare for the 2025 WNBA draft.
"Actually I have a secret," Johnson said. "And I guess the best time to put it out would be now, on my podcast. After heavy consideration, and just talking with my team, my family, and everybody just involved in my athletic career, I want to let y'all know that I will be.
"I'm just messing with y'all. I'm just playing." (47:48)
Flau'jae Johnson is averaging 23.3 points and 7.7 rebounds on more than 50% shooting. She is the LSU Tigers' scoring leader and is the sixth-best offensive college player.
