Grant Tisdale is an American college football player who recently transferred to North Texas for his final season of eligibility. Tisdale started his football career at Allen High School where he was ranked the No.12 dual-threat quarterback in the nation. He was named to the MaxPreps High School All-America team as a senior and led his school to the 2017 6A State Championship as a junior. Tisdale was ranked the No.45 recruit of Texas by ESPN and was rated a four-star prospect. He concluded his prep career tossing for 5,088 yards with 101 total touchdowns and nine interceptions. Tisdale embarked on his collegiate football journey with Ole Miss after considering offers from top programs like Baylor, Houston, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas Tech, and Utah.

In his freshman season, Tisdale saw action in only one game and recorded 56 yards and a touchdown before redshirting the year. He was moved to wide receiver the following year but did not see any action. In 2021, he spent one season of junior college at Cisco Junior where he appeared in only three games and tabbed 111 yards and a touchdown. He entered the transfer portal for the second time and transferred to Southeastern Louisiana where he could appear in only one game across two-long seasons. Last year, Tisdale spent one lone season with the TCU Horned Frogs and saw action in only one game. The former four-star athlete from Allen entered the transfer portal for the fourth time in his collegiate career in 2024 to transfer to North Texas Mean Green for his final year of eligibility.
