The South African bowling attack looked flat in both the innings as they allowed the Indians to score runs with utmost ease. They couldn't even break the Indian opening stand in time; the 317-run partnership saw the visitors go behind the eight ball for the rest of the match.

It was their stupendous effort with the bat that brought life into the match. But with the hosts scoring quick runs in the second innings, South Africa went completely out of the match.

Before the second Test, the bowling group will have their task cut out in their bid to take 20 Indian wickets. If they don't formulate the right bowling plans, the home team will stroll their way to another easy series win.

The likes of Kagiso Rabada and the other senior bowlers will have to lead by example with the ball in hand.

Pune will also offer a typically Indian, low and slow track, with spinners coming into play much earlier in the game. The onus will be on the spinners to better their dismal show from the first Test and come out with positive results for their side.
