Sachin Tendulkar, one of the greatest batsmen of all time, was one player who always tormented Australia during their golden era. The Baggy Greens dominated world cricket for almost two decades since 1990. However, the Master Blaster was always a thorn in their flesh.

The God of Indian cricket played 39 Test matches for India against Australia during his 22-year Test career. He amassed 3630 runs at an impressive average of 55.00. The champion batsman scored 11 centuries and 16 fifties from his 74 innings against Australia.

His incredible knock of 148* on a pacer-friendly Perth wicket in 1992 kick-started the era of the cricketing legend.

His match-winning hundred at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in 2001, where he annihilated Shane Warne, still lingers in the memory of every Indian fan. Sachin played one of his best knocks at the SCG where he scored an unbeaten 241 against the mighty Australian bowling line-up.

The Master Blaster is arguably the best opponent the Australian team has ever faced.
