Ravichandran Ashwin has been a great spinner for India and has also contributed in many historic wins for India. In the 2013 Champions Trophy, he played a very vital role in India's road to victory but that looks now an old story.

Ravi Ashwin who often says that he is still hopeful to be the part of the squad for 2019 World Cup but looking at the current scenario it is very difficult for him. He last played an ODI back in 2017 against West Indies and has not been able to make a comeback since then in the ODI squad.

Ravi Ashwin has not been able to make a comeback because of the duo of Chahal and Kuldeep and also that Ashwin has not been able to do something special with the ball in the IPL 2018 or the domestic limited overs tournaments. So, it likely that he will not be the part of the World Cup squad and who knows it might be that we have seen for the last time in the blue jersey.
