Chasing 256 on a Wankhede wicket could have proved to be quite tricky but from the get-go, it looked like the Australian openers had a clear plan of being positive. Both Warner and Finch were aggressive in their batting approach as they took on India's premier fast bowlers - Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami.

In the first powerplay, Australia managed to score 84 runs and that made an easy chase even easier. Still, Warner and Finch didn't go into their shells, instead, they took on the Indian spinners and were in quite a hurry to finish things off, which they did.

Bumrah gave away 50 runs from 7 overs, a sight that one rarely sees, while Shami was also taken to the cleaners along with Shardul Thakur. This chase outlined Australia's newfound fearless approach which they have adopted after a miserable 2018 and we saw the same in the 2019 cricket World Cup.

The visitors have started the series brilliantly and now hold the upper hand.
