The Women in Blue will be visiting the New Zealand for a three-match ODI series which will be a part of the ICC Women ODI Championship and a three-match T20I series as their first assignment of 2019. The ODI series will commence from 24th January and will conclude on 1st February.

While the three-match T20 series will commence from 6th February and the matches will be played just before the men's T20 matches. The tour will start with a one-day practice match on 18th January against Central Districts Hinds at McLean Park in Napier, New Zealand.

The squad for both the ODI's & T20I's has already been announced with some new faces and some experienced ones. One of the notable absentee from the squad is Veda Krishnamurthy who has been dropped for the T20Is as the selectors termed her exclusion is due to poor form.

The matches will be broadcasted live on the Star network's digital streaming platform Hotstar on all match days. While T20Is are expected to be telecasted Live on Star Sports before the Men's T20I matches.
