Of these, 258 are overseas players with quite a few big-name foreign players having set their base price between ₹1.5-2 crore. In fact, nine players have set their base price to ₹1.5 crore, of which only one is Indian - Robin Uthappa. But, amongst these nine players, three might be able to do better and get much bigger bids at the auctions.

Eoin Morgan has the skills to turn matches and he can be a great addition to a team that needs a solid middle-order batsman in their squad. Morgan is in fine form and he had scored 192 runs in the five T20I matches against New Zealand. The England skipper scored his runs at an average of 48 and a blistering strike rate of 193.33.

The southpaw had scored 374 runs in the 10 World Cup matches at an average of 41.22 and a staggering strike rate of 111.08. #2 Chris Morris

South African all-rounder Chris Morris didn't have a great season in IPL 2019 for Delhi Capitals and he was subsequently released by the franchise. Morris scalped 13 wickets in the nine matches of the last season but could not deliver the goods with the bat. However, he has shown the signs that he is getting back at his best.

The all-rounder has thus far scalped nine wickets for Nelson Mandela Bay Giants in the ongoing Mzansi Super League. Morris has the skills to be right on the money in the death overs as he can bowl at an express pace and can also get the ball to reverse back. The right-arm pacer also has an accurate yorker under his repertoire. Morris also took 12 wickets in 11 matches during the Vitality T20 Blast.

Furthermore, he can provide quick runs while batting in the lower order. Morris scores his runs at a blistering strike rate of 157.62 in the IPL and he has snared 69 wickets in 61 matches.

#1 Kyle Abbott

South Africa's former fast bowler Kyle Abbott can be in demand in the upcoming auctions. Abbot has been in sublime form recently and it would be difficult for the franchises to overlook his current form. The right-arm pacer had scalped 20 wickets in the 13 matches for Hampshire in the Vitality T20 Blast at an average of 17.80 and he was the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the tournament.

Abbott can clock speed in excess of 140 km/h and he can be an asset for teams like Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings who need a foreign fast bowler in their side.

The 32-year old pacer was right on the money in the County Championship Division One. The former Proteas pacer had snared 71 wickets in the 13 County matches at an impressive average of 15.73. Abbott was the second highest-wicket-getter in the County Championship. Ergo, Abbott can attract a huge bid in the IPL auction.
