Perhaps, the saddest thing about Yuvraj Singh's career is that his career culminated in the West Indies and not at Mohali. Nevertheless, Yuvraj emerged as a match-winner for India in the ODI format which was one of the key reasons why he played 304 ODIs for India. He scored 8,701 runs and took 111 wickets in his exemplary ODI career.
Talking about his last international appearance for India, Yuvi scored 39 runs off 55 balls in that match after coming out to bat at no.4. India put 251/4 on the board for the hosts, the West Indies in 50 overs and the home team was skittled out for 158 in 38.1 overs as the Men in Blue won the match by 93 runs.
Nobody knew that this would be the final international match of Yuvraj Singh's career but in the end, it turned out to be.
