2. India vs Pakistan, India, 1979/80: 58 Wickets
Pakistan's tour of India in 1979 surprisingly turned out to be a pace-friendly series with the leading wicket-takers from both the teams being fast bowlers.
Kapil Dev was the leading wicket-taker of the series with 32 wickets. This is the highest number of wickets by an Indian pacer in a single series. He also scalped three five-fers. His, then career-best figures of 7-56 helped India series 2-0 in fifth Test itself.
Karsan Ghavri ended the series with 15 wickets. This was one of his best performances for India. Roger Binny also took 11 wickets and played a noteworthy role in India's victory.
