2023 World Cup Points Table: Updated standings after India vs Pakistan match

Pakistan remained in the fourth position despite the loss against India. The Men in Green have four points after three matches. Their net run rate has come down to -0.137 from +0.927 after the defeat against India.

Defending champions England will be in action tomorrow (October 15) against Afghanistan. The England team is currently fourth in the points table, with two points from two matches. Their net run rate is +0.553. If England win against Afghanistan tomorrow, the defending champions will overtake Pakistan in the standings.

On the other hand, Afghanistan have a chance to rise up from the 10th position. Afghanistan have zero points after two matches. If they beat England tomorrow, they can jump to the seventh position in the points table.
