"Bhai yaar itne der me match ho jaata"- Suryakumar Yadav reacts to hilarious Instagram reel about Bollywood version of his catch

Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav etched his name in the history books after a stunning catch in the 2024 T20 World Cup final to dismiss David Miller. Yadav was just centimeters away from the boundary rope when he took the catch. He then went out of the boundary, threw the ball up in the air, came back and caught it again to complete the catch.

A popular Instagram creator named Tejas Gaikwad created a reel about how a Bollywood movie director would shoot the catch if a biopic was made about Suryakumar Yadav. The creator decided to take a long pause when Yadav was outside the boundary.

While Yadav came back quickly in real life, the creator decided to add background dialogues to hype up the catch even more. The reel went viral, and reached Yadav as well, who left the following comment:

"Bhai yaar itne der me match ho jaata (laughing emojis) thank you so much." (Bro, the match would have ended in this much time.)

Suryakumar Yadav's comment gained more than 300,000 likes on Instagram

Tejas Gaikwad's reel has gone viral on Instagram, with more than two million users liking the reel. Suryakumar commented on the reel, and his comment has fetched more than 300,000 likes as well.

Suryakumar is currently on his way to New Delhi with the rest of the Indian squad. He will get an opportunity to celebrate the 2024 T20 World Cup triumph in his hometown Mumbai today (July 4) evening in an open bus parade. Thousands of fans are expected to be in attendance for the celebration.
