In 2009 India and Sri Lanka played in one of the most memorable ODI of all-time. The subcontinents giants collided in Rajkot for an epic battle. Batting first India put on a mammoth total of 414 courtesy of Virender Sehwag's’ 146 runs.

Out came Sri Lanka in the second innings with a mission and they relied on their dynamic opener, Tillakaratne Dilshan to provide the good and he respectfully obliged. The Sri Lankan scored a rapid-fire knock of 160 runs before getting bowled by Harbhajan Singh. Dilshan's terrific innings consisted of 20 fours and 3 sixes as Dilshan scored at a strike rate of about 130 to reach the figure of 160

Sri Lanka was a whisker away from a memorable victory as they finished on 411 to lose the match by just 3 runs. This was one of highest scoring ODI of all time.
