Stats: Best batting side in Champions Trophy so far

India are the best batting side, by far. They have scored 643 runs in their three games at an average of 58.45 per wicket. They have scored these runs at a brisk pace as well – at the strike-rate of 98.61 runs per hundred deliveries. The next best side, in terms of the batting average, is England, at 33.19 runs per wicket, followed by Sri Lanka, at 31.14 runs per wicket. Pakistan, as expected, are the worst batting side – they managed only 15.93 runs per wicket.
