Stats: Double centuries on debut

Despite a great start to his career, Jacques Rudolph has failed to achieve anything of significance

Here is a list of players who have scored a double century on their Test debut. Only five players have managed to achieve the distinction so far, the latest being the South African batsman Jacques Rudolph – who scored 222* against Bangladesh in 2003.
