Sydney, Jan 9 - Steven Smith's record-breaking spree continued after the Australian skipper eclipsed one of Donald Bradman's longest standing records against India on day four of the fourth and final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Friday.

Smith's incredible run of form continued as he surpassed Bradman's record for most runs in a Test series against India, a mark set more than 65 years ago.

Australian captain Smith’s 19th run in the hosts’ second innings took him to 717 runs in the ongoing four-match Test series, going past Bradman's record of 715 against India in 1947-48.

He went on to make 71 in Australia's second innings before being dismissed.
