3. Suresh Raina takes a dig at Mushfiqur Rahim

Bangladesh needed just 12 runs off the last over in their group stage encounter against India in Bangalore with set batsmen Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim on the pitch. Although the ‘Tigers’ later went on to lose the match by a single run, their wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim had hit a couple of boundaries to almost steer his team over the victory line.

After hitting the second boundary off the final Hardik Pandya over, the 27-year-old was unable to hold his emotions down and made a jump with his fists up in the air. Suresh Raina tweeted a picture of the Indians celebrating after the match which was indirectly hinted towards Rahim.

Afghanistan registered the one and only upset of the tournament as they defeated the soon-to-be-champions, West Indies by 6 runs at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur on 27 March 2016.

Najibullah Zadran scored an unbeaten 48 off 40 deliveries and Mohammad Nabi picked up a couple of wickets for 26 in his allotted 4 overs to guide the Afghans to a historic victory.
