The only England player other than Kevin Pietersen to have scored more than 1000 runs against India in ODIs. Surprisingly, he’s the lone English batsman in the Top 5 list. The former right-hander enjoyed a splendor batting average of 43.07 with a run tally of 1163 runs versus India.
Two out of his four centuries came against India and both ended up with England being victorious. Bell also had 6 half-centuries to back that and was a force to be dealt with in the top order. His best against India came in the Natwest Series 2007 where he was the top run scorer with 422 runs. While he may have retired, fans from both the countries still remember him for his batting exploits.
