The 28-year-old pace sensation was brilliant in the tournament and formed a deadly combination with Trent Boult and Matt Henry. Lockie Ferguson picked up 21 wickets in the World Cup at an economy of less than five an over. He bowled with searing pace and made critical breakthroughs in the middle overs. His bouncers troubled some of the best batsmen in the tournament and he consistently clocked speeds of over 90 kph.
#3 Jofra Archer (England)
Jofra Archer finished as the third highest wicket-taker in the mega event with 20 scalps from 11 outings. He made a huge difference to the title-winning English side and was their X-factor with the ball. He picked up wickets with the new ball and troubled batsmen in the death overs with his variations. He bowled over 150 kph on numerous occasions and was ruthless throughout the World Cup. His fastest delivery was clocked at 154 kph.
