Former Indian fast bowler, Ashish Nehra has picked his best XI of the 2019 World Cup. The left-arm pacer has selected MS Dhoni as the captain of his side which features 4 other Indian superstars. He has also included 2 Australians, 1 New Zealander, 2 English and 1 Bangladeshi cricketer in his squad.

India’s World Cup 2019 campaign ended with a heartbreaking loss against New Zealand in the first semifinal. The Men in Blue had lost 3 wickets with just 5 runs on the board which turned the entire game in New Zealand’s favor. And, in the 2nd semifinal, Australia succumbed to a defeat versus hosts, England.

Nehra has selected Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, David Warner and Kane Williamson as his team’s batsmen. The IPL veteran also picked two all-rounders, Ben Stokes and Shakib Al Hasan in his XI. Yuzvendra Chahal is the only one spinner who made it to this team with Jofra Archer, Mitchell Starc and Jasprit Bumrah being the three premium pacers.
