Call of Duty Warzone 2 player “GamerAgentGold” uploaded a video on Reddit showcasing a title old glitch for jumping across buildings. This movement technique reportedly originates from the previous Warzone battle royale, which could be used to travel large distances by using free fall from tall buildings without taking any damage.
Warzone 2 is undoubtedly one of the most realistic battle royale titles in the esports scene. However, the community continues discovering new issues that can provide players an undue advantage over enemy operators. This free fall glitch is one of those as players can exploit the technique to quickly reposition from high points on the map without suffering fatal fall damage consequences.
Let us look closer at the newfound Warzone 2 bug that allows players to jump from rooftops quickly.

How Warzone 2 players are capitalizing on the new free-fall jump glitch
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 had a bumpy start during the launch period as the titles were plagued with various bugs. Activision rigorously deployed several patches to fix the identified problems and deliver on its promise of an improved gameplay experience. Unfortunately, such massive games are bound to have a few quirks throughout their lifetime.
The free-fall jump glitch looks quite simple but is a difficult move to master for players who do not fully understand the movement mechanics of the game. It is called a glitch due to the operator surviving free-falls from heights where the fall damage should definitely eliminate a player.
The battle royale player showcases this movement technique perfectly by jumping from one rooftop to another without taking lethal fall damage. This glitch takes effect when a player jumps from a ledge around the rooftop and dives toward the next ledge. The game oddly ignores the fall-damage restriction that can kill an operator instantly.
The speed at which players can traverse the map with this method is monstrous and another reason for the community’s concern. This can easily be used to surprise enemies and reposition on the map during intense gunfights in high-rise buildings on maps like Al Mazrah.
