Nico Rosberg got the better of Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton at the start of the Austrian Grand Prix to secure his third win of the season. The latter admitted that Rosberg was simply the faster driver of the two around the Red Bull Ring and downplayed the time penalty for crossing the white line at the pitlane exit. Felipe Massa crossed the line in third place to secure his first podium since last year's curtain closing Abu Dhabi, with Sebastian Vettel finishing fourth after a patchy pitstop. Valtteri Bottas was fifth at the chequered flag while Le Mans winner Nico Hulkenberg's sixth place result - combined with Perez's top 10 finish - propelled Force India to fifth in the standings, ahead of fellow Mercedes powered rivals Lotus.
