From breaking existing records and making new ones, Messi never fails to impress whenever he steps onto the football pitch. Almost every time Messi nets a goal, he points to the sky. Not many know that it is in fact in honour of Messi’s grandmother who passed away before the Argentine became a sensation that he is today. Messi’s grandmother was the one who first put him on a football pitch despite coaches writing him off because of his small stature.
