Alberto Bueno scored a La Liga quadruple a few years ago.

Alberto Bueno has had a fairly forgettable stint in La Liga, scoring 36 goals in eight seasons for five different teams. However, he did enjoy two prolific campaigns in the competition while playing for Rayo Vallecano in 2013-14 and 2014-15, netting 28 times in total.

In 2014-15, the striker made history by becoming the first Vallecano player to score a La Liga quadruple. He achieved the feat in only 15 minutes, scoring all four goals in his team's 4-2 win against Levante. Bueno brought up his quadruple seven minutes before half-time after Levante had opened the scoring.

The 33-year-old would score only seven times in the competition after that historic night.

Kylian Mbappe is arguably one of the best young players in the game at the moment.

Still only 22, he has already won a FIFA World Cup and four Ligue 1 titles in his young career thus far. The Frenchman has been particularly prolific in the French top flight, scoring 114 goals in 166 games for two different clubs.

Mbappe, a three-time Ligue 1 Golden Boot winner, enjoyed his most prolific campaign in the competition in 2018-19, scoring 33 goals. Four of those goals came in only 13 minutes in PSG's 5-0 home win over Olympique Lyon.

The 2021 UEFA Nations League winner has bagged seven Ligue 1 goals and eight assists in 16 games this season.

Robert Lewandowski has been a prolific goalscorer for club and country. The 2021 Ballon d'Or runner-up has plundered goals for fun, especially in the Bundesliga.

The 33-year-old holds several records in the German top flight. With 293 goals, he is the competition's most prolific foreign goalscorer and second overall. The Bayern Munich marksman has won six Torjagerkanone (Bundesliga Golden Boot) awards, one short of the legendary Gerd Muller.

Last season, Lewandowski netted 41 times to break the late Muller's record of most goals (40) in a Bundesliga season. He has also scored a record 15 hat-tricks in the competition. One of them came as a substitute against Wolfsburg, with the Poland international netting a stunning five times in only nine minutes.

It remains the fastest hat-trick, quadruple and quintuple in Bundesliga history. Lewandowski is on course to go level with Muller's record of seven Torjegarkanone awards.

He has already netted 16 times in 14 league games this season, powering Bayern's bid for a tenth consecutive Bundesliga title.
