The Red Scousers of Liverpool are still trying to get their first top tier English league title after the competition was rebranded in 1992 to become the Premier League.

With Five Champions League titles under the Liverpool name and 18 League titles before the rebranding, Liverpool must be a great contender for the title, if we are talking numbers and summer transfer prices that Liverpool have done in the last three years.

The contender-ship came only this season for the first time since 2013-2014, other than that...Liverpool has been known to only to be the Robin Hood of the Premier League, taking points from the big four and only losing to small and less-powerful teams like Swansea or Stoke City.

Liverpool's performances at the Champions League were not that well, only the 2017-2018 campaign was their best in 11 years, the only real team they faced in that campaign was Manchester City. Other than that, we can't say that Roma or Porto are contenders for the title anyway. Liverpool lost the finals to Real Madrid after the critical injury that Salah has suffered and the extra-poor performance of Loris Karius.

Liverpool is known for the huge turn-off they gave to their fans when they bottled the Premier League in the 2013-2014 version of the Premier League when they lost to Chelsea in a very critical game in the Anfield and drew with Crystal Palace in the game that could have saved them from losing the Premier League title.

This time, stacked with star power and becoming the direct competitor for the league, there should be nothing stopping The Reds from accomplishing their dream. And if it is lost once again, there are four things that may happen and the Scousers won't like it that much.

#4 No more 'Fabulous Three'

If they finish up at any place rather the first, we might have to say goodbye to The Lion of Teranga, The Firminator, and The Egyptian King as well.

Players of this caliber are not going to stay up aging under the Liverpool umbrella when they are not getting any accomplishments such as the Premier League or the UEFA Champions League.

With transfer rumors all around the place for the three, we might not see one of them if not the trio by the end of 2020.

The expected transfers for the trio, according to several rumors from last year, says that Salah will go to Juventus FC. Firmino to FC Barcelona, and Sadio Mane to Real Madrid.

We hope to keep an eye on the trio under the Premier League brand as they bring an awesome style into the competition that no attacking line can bring as of now.

#3 In Klopp, we won't trust

Chances were given, money was invested, and several summer signings could have been done to support the defense and attack line crisis.

Liverpool entered the season with Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip, and Dejan Lovren in the Center Back role. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Nathaniel Clyne for the Right Back role. Andrew Robertson and Alberto Moreno for the Left Back role.

He exited the winter transfer window without Nathaniel Clyne. The only legitimate replacement for Arnold. Alberto Moreno is not sufficient enough to replace Robertson, and you don't need to know about Lovren's or Matip's performances.

On the other hand, the main attacking options for Liverpool are Salah, Firmino, and Mane. Origi and Sturridge are not that good of a replacement either.

This might be one of the last seasons for Jurgen in Liverpool if he doesn't get a title this season.

We all know that it's not a secret, a lot of Arabs are following Liverpool's media outlets and visit the actual city to support Liverpool for the sake of Mohamed Salah. While a lot of Senegalese and Guinean people support Liverpool for the sake of Naby Keita and Sadio Mane.

Brazilians as well watch for the sake of Alisson, Fabinho, and Firmino. Also, other supporters from the Netherlands support the club for Virgil Van Dijk and Gini Wjnaldum. These might go in the wind as well.

These supporters might get lost in the way if such players decide to leave Liverpool in order to get more recognition for participation in trophy winning squads. It happened with AS Roma when Salah left and all the Egyptian supporters decided to support Liverpool all the way to a very aggressive extent on social media.

#1 A drought in the trophy room

The best squad, a squad better than 2013-2014's season, a squad that reminds us of the Kenny Dalglish and Bill Shankly days. A squad that is full of great players and can guarantee a trophy for Liverpool.

Liverpool's squad is so deep as of now, most of the players proved their abilities under the club's umbrella or their previous respective clubs. The only thing they lack is the ability to work under pressure, and we noticed that in Leicester and West Ham games when Liverpool's chances to finish the league went up early in the air.

But what is the benefit of the club for the players if they don't get any more titles anytime soon. Will they stay in the club? We don't think so.

Without these world class players, you won't get any trophies. You won't get any signings to support you through the rest of your years, your academy is not that good as well like Chelsea for an example either.
