Barcelona have been among the most active La Liga clubs in the transfer window. They have made some intelligent free agent signings and the arrival of Memphis Depay could definitely help them challenge Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid for the La Liga title next season.

After an ill-fated spell at Manchester United, Memphis Depay rediscovered his best form at Lyon and will be eager to continue his good form at Barcelona this season. The Dutch international also has an excellent relationship with manager Ronald Koeman and his pace, dribbling ability and direct play could add a different dimension to Barcelona's attack.

With Depay still only 27, he will add some much needed freshness to the aging Barcelona squad. The Netherlands star could be the player to watch out for in La Liga this season.

A midfielder with an eye for goal, De Paul contributed an impressive 9 goals and 9 assists for a struggling Udinese side in Serie A last season. The Argentine midfielder also had an excellent Copa America campaign and was one of the chief architects of Argentina's Copa America 2021 triumph.

De Paul looks like the perfect midfielder for Diego Simeone and the 27-year-old Argentine could have a huge role to play in the La Liga title race this season.
